Dual

As
I am sure you all know, NatSKA has been
looking to organise race meetings in conjunction
with MSA club meetings. This idea was first
discussed at an ABKC meeting and followed
up afterwards, with team leaders at our
AGM giving their approval. We have spoken
to clubs and to date, three have expressed
an interest for this year and arrangements
have been finalised with two clubs and three
circuits as follows:
MBKC
(GYG and Three Sisters, Wigan)
Please
note there will be no requirement for teams
to provide officials, marshals or scrutineers
as MBKC will supply them.

Camberley
4th March 2006
Well
the first meeting of 2006 got underway without
to many hitches. The weather while sunny
was cold, with a couple of snow flurries
during the day. We had some very good racing
in all the classes and it has been decide
to start to award a special trophy to the
novice classes, with the MSA steward deciding
on the most improved novice of the day.
The first recipient to receive this award
was Jamie Handley (Class 11 No 53) of 1165
ATC Squadron.
I
would like to thank all those who helped
throughout the day. With special thanks
to Chris and Viv Pepperell for all their
help and to Beths Kart Club who supplied
most of the officials, including most of
the scrutineers.
The
only disappointment of the day for me was
the lack of support from the Northern teams,
with only Tarporley attending. We should
remember that the Southern teams (Beths,
Barclays and Edmonton etc) do support meetings
in the North. Remember both Rye House and
Camberley being approximately 4 hours for
most Northern teams this is not that far,
especially when you think Beths (Bexley
Kent) are up to 6 hours away from Wigan
and 8 from Rowrah!
NatSKA does need all the support that you
can give our meetings.
So come on and give us some support!
I
have just finished doing the results for
Camberley and have asked Mark Whitefoot
to put them on the results section of the
site.
I
hope you all enjoyed Camberley’s race
meeting and luck forward to seeing you at
our next meeting at Wigan on Saturday 1st
April.

Before
I get down to business and I would like
to welcome Falmer High School from Brighton
and 1165 Squadron from Oswestry the latest
new members to join NatSKA. It is nice to
have you on board and good luck!
